We are proud to be a sponsor of the October 2018 Save the Crafty YouTubers Video Hop.

Sponsor Post-2
A huge thanks to Justine Hovey for organizing this huge event. She explains it so well:

"The Save the Crafty YouTuber Video hop is a celebration of cardmaking video tutorials created by a group of talented crafters of all different styles and levels. We are coming together over 5 days to give our viewers a chance to discover other amazing cardmakers and help reach monetization goals! All you have to do is watch, like the video, consider subscribing, and click the link in the video description below to hop to the next video. Let yourself be inspired! Don’t forget to comment because we have tons of prizes to give away. Please indicate if you are located in the USA or International so that prizes can be awarded appropriately as some prizes (not all!) have restrictions on them. Don’t forget to check back every day this week since there are 5 themed days of video hops! You never know when you’ll discover your next favourite YouTuber!

For my video I show how to create a bottom-fold magnetic-closure window card that reveals a pop-up Christmas Tree when you open it. If you leave a comment on the YouTube video (click to watch and comment on YouTube, not here on the blog) by November 7, 2018, you are entered into a drawing to win the three die sets I used in the video. Winners will be contacted on Nov. 10th. Here's my video. Remember, you need to leave the comment on YouTube to be entered, not here on the blog.

If you are just joining the hop, you're actually on Day 5, which means you have four additional days of hopping to put on your to-watch list! FUN! PRIZES!* (*until Nov 7, 2018)

The hop is broken into 5 themed days so that it is more manageable for you to go through.

Here are some additional photos and information about my card.

In the closed position it measures 4.25" x 5" and will mail easily in an A2 envelope. I particularly like this technique because it makes full use of the pop-up tree by letting it do the decorating for the front of the card AND the inside. Bonus! I added some die cut garlands (included in the tree set) and the leftover enamel dots as front decoration.

To open the card, simply lift the magnetic flap at the top.

Once open the tree will stand up in the center of the card and the middle parts will expand.

Behind the tree I added the big Merry Christmas greeting (cut twice and offset for a shadowed look) and a frame created with the Squares- Crosshatch die set. (All supply links are at the end of this post) The patterned papers came from my stash.

If you'd like to give this card a try I have the products used in the video linked below.

Happy Hopping!
