KB + Brutus Monroe Collaboration - Upsy Daisy Floral Frenzy
Coffee Lover's Blog Hop

Karen Burniston and Brutus Monroe Blog Hop

Welcome to our Blog Hop for the Karen Burniston + Brutus Monroe collaboration week. Yesterday the Brutus Monroe team had a hop and today it's our turn.

For my video and project I am teaching an easy adaptation of the Katherine Label Pop-up to double the mechanism so you have labels popping up on both sides of the card. To decorate, I am using a fabulous clear stamp set from Brutus Monroe called Topsy Cakes.

This is a simple and cute little card that measures 4" tall by 4.5" wide when closed. The patterned papers are all from KaiserCraft (#P371 Icing, #P370 Chocolate Drops and #P2485 Quilted) but this card would look just as cute with any birthday-themed patterned paper. I drew the colors from the paper for coloring the cakes with my Prismacolor colored pencils.

As the card opens the two labels start to lift and move.

Once open, the two labels suspend over the card. The cakes are all stamped, colored and fussy-cut. The greetings are from the stamp set.

I embellished with sequins and the various labels that come in the Katherine Label die set.
