On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me . . . a cardinal in a bare tree!
Happy December! Today I have a card to share that was one of my class cards last month. I based this card on my video tutorial for the double arching fence technique.
I like this combination of "mod" colors for a holiday card. The card measures 5.5" square when closed. I've added a 5x5 square of patterned paper on the front of the card, plus a white Iron Fence on pop-dots, with ribbon strung through it. The bird dies come included with the Iron Fence die set and you can watch this video to learn how to style the birds as cardinals.
Open the card and two fences arch up, connected to a center fence that also animates the All Seasons Tree. The little strands of lights on the fence and the wreath around the bird are both from the Holiday House set.
I hung two of the Holiday Charms from the tree and perched another cardinal on one of the branches.
