Happy Saturday, fellow crafters!
Today I have the final assembly video for the new interactive dies in the Summer release. This is the Anita Frames Pop-up die set, named in honor of Anita Izendoorn, who was a big fan of a similar die called the Floating Frames from my early Sizzix days and has been requesting for years that I bring it back.
This is going to be a great all-purpose generic pop-up die for any theme. Watch this video to learn how to assemble it:
The card I make in the video is a simple card design using just a few supplies.
The card front is very simple, using a harlequin patterned paper from BoBunny with glitter dots to highlight all the diamonds. The banners are stamped (Occasions Clear Stamps) onto white cardstock and then cut out with the matching dies and strung onto a piece of twine. I attached them to the front of the card with pop-dots.
I layered the two smaller decorator labels together and then die cut a crown with double-sided adhesive on the cardstock so it could be glittered. I embellished the crown with glitter dots and lines.
When the card is opened the Anita Frames pop up is revealed. The oval provides a spot for me to sign the card.
In the video I show the die cutting of the "Happy Birthday to you" stamped label using the medium label die included in the set. This will leave a slight shadow around the stamped black border. The banners are attached to the card with miniature paper clips.
The new collections are available now at retailers who carry Elizabeth Craft Designs products. Or you can shop online and here are some links to the products used in the video:
