I am lucky enough to have three Moms in my life - my mom, Marilyn, my step-mother, Karen and my mother-in-law, Ann. Since I did not get three handmade cards done and into the mail in time I have made this lovely e-card instead.
I know! Thoughtful!
This is a mixed accordion album - the outside pages are the Rectangle Accordion and the middle page is the Oval Accordion.
My idea was to have the inside portions of the pages be transparency so I could "float" the letters on the pages. The letters themselves were very easy to make by just using the accordion pages themselves to cut two rectangles and one oval. For the oval I nested in the stitched die, then flipped the oval and cut the stitched die again, but from the back of the paper, which completes the cut so the oval falls out. For the rectangle pages I used scissors to turn them into M's.
Decorating the pages was mostly done with peel-off stickers - both glitter lines and Pink/Silver Elegant Swirls. I found a 3D rose embellishment in my stash and added it to the first page, tucking in some die cut rose leaves underneath. I used the accordion page dies to make patterned paper frames for each page and used the postage Paris Edge on the oval piece. The greeting is computer-generated.
