December has been rather hectic and I should have had this information up last week, but just in case you live in the Houston area and are looking for something to do this Saturday afternoon (December 17, 2011), come see me at Novel Approach, in Friendswood, TX.
From 12:30 - 1:30 pm I will be there for a demo hour where I can answer any and all of your questions about Sizzix products, not just (but definitely including) the pop-up dies. Need to know about machines? Come see me. Accessories? Come see me. How do Movers & Shapers work? Come see me. Is the eClips machine and recent eCal software amazing? Come see me. (Answer: YES!) The demo is free.
Then, from 2-4:30 pm I will be teaching "Not your Momma's Pop-up cards!". Class fee = $30. You will complete three artsy-style pop-up cards. Captions are optional, as you will receive a full sheet of letter stickers to customize your cards. Everything in the kits is pre-cut and there will be instructions included, so if you can't join us for the class but want to order a kit, call the store.

There are a few spots left if you want to sign up. The class kits also include mailing envelopes for all three cards.
What to Bring:
Trimmer (only needed if I've cut something drastically crooked, which I usually do not do)
Favorite Adhesives (dry tape runner, wet fine line glue pen)
Strong adhesives (red liner tacky tape, and/or Scor tape, mini-glue dots)
Scoring tool (I like an embossing stylus for this)
Bone Folder (helps reinforce the creases)
Mini stapler and staples (if you have one - Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher is my favorite!)
Sanding block and/or distressing tool
Small brown & black ink pads plus blending tool (optional) for inking edges
