I'll be back to my "Christmas Version" series tomorrow, but I needed to change gears to make a card for my friend Rebecca's baby shower yesterday. She's expecting twin boys and went with a cowboy theme for the shower.
I went stash diving to find some papers that matched the cowboy theme - a red paisley, red dot and blue gingham. I also found some ribbon that looked like denim and some cowboy boot charms. The card measures 4.25" x 5.5" when folded, making it fit nicely in an A2 envelope.
The interactive die is the Katie Label Pivot Card and I cut one of the smaller decorator labels out of the center of the left label to be able to dangle the Props 6 cowboy hats in the opening. As the card is opened the label starts to pivot.
I computer-generated a greeting and cut it out with the decorator labels that come included with the set. I used twine to create a lasso.
This is a simple card design that uses just two dies. It could be easily adapted for a single baby/child by dangling one cowboy hat in the opening instead of two.
Here's what you'll need to make it:
