Today I'm sharing an encouragement card I made for a friend. See this card opening and closing in an animated GIF here.
I decided to make a Twist Circle Panel card combined with the Iron Fence pop-up. This card measures 5" x 7" when closed. For the front of the card I used an older Stampin' Up! stamp set called Chalk Talk. The bird is from the Iron Fence die set.
As the card opens the panels start to twist and open. I followed my video tutorial for converting the Twist Circle die set into a base for animating a set of panels.
As for the panels themselves, I needed the outer two to be wider to be able to animate the Iron Fence. The outer two panels are 4.25" wide x 3" tall. The inner two panels are 2.25" wide x 3" tall. I added pink All Seasons Trees to each fence, along with a string of banners from the Anita Frames die set.
The Anita Frames labels were used to frame the stamped greeting. (Stamp by Verve) The detail shots below show the arching fences and hanging banners. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I added pink ribbons to the card as well.
