Well, CHA is less than a month away. Can you believe it? I can't!
I have two new Pop it Ups collections being released at the show, called High Jinks and Coffee & Cake. You'll be able to see a complete Sneak of all new products next week on December 15th. For now, a partial sneak peek is posted on the Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog, including a look at one of my Make 'n Take projects for the show.
This year I'm doing something different at CHA - I opted for a Make 'n Take program at the booth rather than teaching a class. Knowing how much the retailers appreciate ideas that they can re-teach, I have designed three Make 'n Takes (one for each full day of the trade show) that are supported with video tutorials. Elizabeth Craft Designs will make it very easy to purchase the supplies to re-teach the Make 'n Takes by offering special bundles for the retailers who come to our booth to make the projects. Plus, you'll receive a complete set of written instructions in addition to the video tutorial. You can also opt to use these projects as "Take 'n Makes" since the customers can watch the video to learn the assembly process. They would also work well as class projects.
For this first Make 'n Take, the products are from the High Jinks collection. This high-flying collection features 7 new dies (4 of them are interactive), a bananas embossing folder, and two small clear stamp sets for greetings. The new Character for this collection is Jinks the Monkey. Jinks (short for hijinks) is definitely a cheeky little monkey and will work with all the dies in this collection whenever you want to send a card that is full of fun. He pairs particularly well with the Oval Pull Card. All of my Pull Card dies include an optional interactive feature and for the Oval Pull Card, the optional interactive feature is a slot & slider. When you add this feature to the card, you can make an item slide (fly!) across the card as it opens. Learn how to make this project by watching the video tutorial:
You can see another variation of a flying monkey card on the packaging of the Oval Pull Card die, this time decorated with the new Partly Cloudy stencil and Pull Card Edges die, two more components of the High Jinks collection.
The Designer Challenge Team has been hard at work making gorgeous samples for the booth. Definitely stop by Booth #775 at CHA and see what we've been up to!
In the coming days you'll see more Sneak Peeks on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog and then next week, on December 15, 2016, you'll be able to preview the entire collection. When can you buy these new products? Retailers are pre-ordering right now and orders will start shipping in just a few weeks.
