Spiral Circle Pull Card - Thank you

Today I'm sharing a simple flowery Spiral Circle Pull Card. I decorated it as a Thank You card, but it could easily be used as a Mother's Day or Hello or Birthday card.

I started with an 8" x 6" (20.3cm x 15.3cm) piece of shimmery cream cardstock and scored up the middle for folding. I embossed both halves of the card with the Bark embossing folder. Then I lined up the Spiral Circle Pull Card die over the center fold and nested in the spiral to cut it at the same time. A glue dot in the center of the spiral was used to attach it to the other side of the card. I hand cut a rectangle of cream cardstock, matted it with green, and glued it inside the card to be able to write a personal greeting.

The tuck slots are cut automatically by the die in the proper spot to keep the card closed, avoiding an accidental reveal. I added a silver ribbon to the left side of the card.

For the big flower I used the ECD Victorian Flower Set 1 die. It has two sizes of flower so I cut three larger ones and two smaller ones. I pinched all the petals (valley folds) to give them dimension and then layered the flowers together, offsetting each layer from the one below and securing them to a cream decorator circle (circle die comes included with the Spiral Circle Pull Card set) with a brad through the center. I covered the brad with a large pearl. I also added some leaves from the Susan's Garden Rose 1 die. I brushed dark pink ink over the petals after assembling. When I glued the circle to the front of the card I made sure to use adhesive only around the perimeter of the circle, avoiding the spiral.

I used the Farm Greetings Clear Stamps for the greeting, stamping in brown and coloring in the letters with a pink marker. I embellished the spiral with the small flower and leaf that come included in the Spiral Circle Pull card set. The heart is also part of the set.

Elizabeth Craft Designs products are available in independent craft stores worldwide. They are also available on the ECD website using the links below. In addition to the ECD products I also used pink, green and shimmery cream cardstock, brown, dark pink and green inks, silver ribbon and white pearls.
