My good friend Lance Anderson is a guest on Good Things Utah today and will be featuring a Camping project I designed about a year and a half ago.
In honor of Lance's TV appearance, I'm making this project available for free download.
In other great news, The Paper Loft is still selling the Back Country paper collection, so if you adore my color choices, you'll be able to make it exactly as pictured. Here is the link to their online store: http://www.qbaroo.com/thepaperloft/main.cfm?categoryoid=1
However, the beauty of Home Construction projects is that they can be made quite easily out of any papers, so feel free to substitute.
Here are the files you'll need to make your own Camping layout:
As always, I'd love to see what you create!
EDITED TO ADD: Exwoods mentioned being unable to download the files using the links above. They're working fine for me, but if you have any trouble, they can also be downloaded here: karenburniston.com/camping

Okay I don't camp but that LO is just too cool!!
Maybe I need to camp just once so I can use this LO! :)
TFS!

Thanks for this tutorial. My husband LOVES camping. I only wish I had this a week ago ---I would have made him an anniversary card with it. Now it will have to be a "just because" card. =) I'll send a link when I create a card.

Thanks for generously sharing this very cool project in all its glory Karen! I married into a "Scouting" family so this will be perfect for quite a few cards and LO's. Can't wait to play! Might even have to add snow for my BIL who loves ice climbing and camping! Hope your craft room recovers from the "hurricane" of the move soon.
Hugs from a grateful SU demo - Jean

I'm in your same boat Karen. Sure do miss Colorado. :( We are making happy memories here in DC. Wishing the best and good luck with your craft area. Beautiful layout.

hi there Karen - I can't seem to get the summary and Instructions PDFs to download - I HAVE got the important bit though - the template!

OK, I edited the post and threw them up on karenburniston.com/camping as a back-up. If you can't get the download links to work here at Typepad, follow that link instead. They are the same files, so there's no need to get them twice!

I DO camp, an annual late-July camping trip with my hubby, children, grandkidlets, and friends and this will be such a CUTE PAGE to add to my woefully behind scrapbook. Currently working on 2008. I *only* scrapbook our camping adventures so this is just a special treat for me. Thanks so much Karen!!! ~Blythe
